We stayed for just a quick one night stop over, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly, and the food was really good. The rooms are quaint and even though some other reviews say they looked dated, I'd prefer to say 'rustic charm'. Good selection of beer in the pub too. And that's always a plus when travelling with the family.. if you know what I mean. :p

Reception area is very nice but the dining area is a little dated. The soup was not good but the coffee machine serves delicious coffee/lattes. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on the rooms as I was only here during the day.
